Terms of Use

By downloading, installing or using WipeClean (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you use the App on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

The App helps you review and remove duplicate photos and screenshots, store selected photos in a passcode-protected vault, and compress videos. Grouping and “best shot” suggestions are automated heuristics: they can miss items or group photos you consider distinct, so you remain responsible for reviewing every selection before confirming.

The App requires a compatible iOS device and Photos permission. Features may change, and some may be unavailable on older devices or with restricted permissions.

Keep your own backups. Do not use the App to process content you have no right to handle, and do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or interfere with the App or its security features. You are responsible for remembering your vault passcode.

Some features may be offered as a one-off purchase or an auto-renewing subscription. Where they are, prices, billing periods and renewal terms are shown in the App before purchase, payment is charged to your Apple ID account, and renewal occurs unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee any particular amount of storage saved, any compression ratio, any level of image or video quality after compression, or that scanning will identify every duplicate or screenshot. Deletion is permanent once iOS has purged the items.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of photos, videos, data or profits arising from use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or if we discontinue the App. Sections on disclaimers, liability and governing law survive termination.

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the App or the law. The revised version is published here with a new effective date, and continued use of the App means you accept it.
